Tip |
|
|
New Delhi has become a
city of prime importance in the present economic and
political scenario. It is extremely useful for foreign
travelers to ensure that they know about New Delhi well
before that land up here. There should not be any cause of
concern though. The people are extremely friendly and
helpful. The stable political establishment has helped the
place to become a very safe and pleasant destination for
tourists. Language too should not be a big problem as
people understand English. People, however, predominantly
use Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu. |

Climate: |
|
|
|
Delhi experiences a
continental climate. It is extremely hot in the summer and
it is extremely cold in the winter. The city hardly has a
rainy season and when it rains, it really pours. The
monsoon rain occurs between July and September. If you are
not accustomed to the tropical Sun it is better to avoid
coming to Delhi in the summer months. |
